Google Sketch up 6

It's a very powerful, but easy to use 3D drawing software form google. It comes with detail tutorials on youtube, and after watching a few short clips, you are ready to start drawing. Well lets say , your dream home? Most importantly, this software is free!! YES free! (of course there is a Pro version which requires $$, but the free one is good enough from me)


In addition, it comes with a plugin called- sketcy physics
With this plugin you can re-create all those physics lab experiments.
You can create a car and let it roll down an incline plane, or even observe collision between objects.
Of course, the sketchy physics thingy is still very new to me.
My car would either fall apart; would move down the plane at all or it will just fall through the plane, like a ghost...

So a friend had a project, something about creativity and innovation.
The task- create something that can solve people's daily problem.
So I was asked to list down some of my daily problems, to well help in the project.
Hmm, so what are problems that I face daily? This is a tough one, because I just realize that I'm not observant about thing around me, happenings in life etc..

After about a week of stomach uncomfortableness, finally it over :)

2nd Semester started.

Going for Penang Bridge marathon, wah Seck Houng going for a marathon wor!!
Yes, I'm going to participate in the Penang MArathon but entering the fun run category, 10 km run.

10 km, hmm its a very long distance of a person who lived a sedentary life.

recently there's been a global financial tsunami, what can I ask? Greed it's all about greed.

Past few days

weren't bad, just not so good

He thought it was over, his stomach recovered, but....

Had 2 unexpected "lao sai", after last 2 days dinner....
Stomach feeling slightly uncomfortable,
Lower back suffering from minor pain...

What's wrong?

Seck Houng, went back to the clinic for the 3rd time in a week, and the only logical explanation is .........

His villi ( remember the one you studied in Biology, the one responsible for absorptions in the small intestine) might have been "injured" due to toxic. The toxic is out of his body, but the damage still remains...

So productivity over the last few days, was terrible...zzzz
well of course not so terrible as the stock market world wide.haha.

I've been wondering, why some crazily work hard and earn piles of $$, sacrificing their health, and end up lying on the sick bed with all the money?

Conclusion-- health is wealth

Past few days

were bad for Seck Houng.....

His stomach was feeling uncomfortable since Saturday,but he didn't bother it cause he thought it was just a small matter.

Monday, Seck Houng started his 2nd semester, with an uncomfortable stomach.. He finally went to the clinic and got himself some medicine.

Tuesday, The condition worsen, it was no more the feeling of uncomfortable, it was the feeling of pain. Seck Houng went back to the clinic, and got injected at his butt.... Had plain porridge with soya sauce.

Lucky for him, everything went fine after he dropped a bom in the W.C.

THE END

Finally, my 1 month plus semester break is coming to an end.

So lets see what I've done during this break....

Worked In Western Digital Media for about 20 days, as a manufacturing technician. Job scope load and unload, be a runner boy... Quite rewarding, at least now I have my own bank account in HSBC. YEs talking about HSBC, I just like and enjoy their service, treated me like I have millions or Ringgit in my bank account, which in actual fact it's only 3 digits in the account.
Made lots of MAlay freinds there, 2 Ibans, 1 Kadazan, and 1 Melanau. YEs, I know, I'm racist!!! haha

WEnt to Genting with college friends. Finally got the chance to take a roller coaster ride, and make that trip as cheap as possible

Read about 5-6 books.One of the books, is about 2 high earning power man (CEO level, it think), resign from their job and went for a backpacking trip to Tibet, during winter... Cool right? So one day, if I'm earning lots of money, still healthy, I'll resign , and go for a backpacking trip to Tibet too.. haha lol just dreaming.
Hmm, why am I reading so much? Keng Hwa's explanation: I'm lonely and too free...

Another thing worth mentioning. Yee En and Keng Hwa came up to PEnang!! Well for Yee En, he didn't came n look for me, insteadI went to his place. And keng Hwa stayed in my house for 4d3n... Well, I was working during the 2 raya days, so only spend time with him after work and 1 day after Raya.. haha And just by bring KH around, I've met 1 primary school fren, and 3 college frens, amazing !! haha

The pic (taken from IBM ) above shows the general composition layers of a HD media.

So the carbon layer is to protect the magnetic layer
MAgnetic layer to store information
Underlayers to provide a return path for the magnetic flux
So, the above pic shows the plan view of the Alneva 3040, the sputtering machine.

For those chambers in white, their function vary from machine to machine

LC- load camber
ULC- unload chamber
P0- etching chamber, remove the carbon layer on the carrier
P1- heating chamber
CHAmbers in between C1 n C2 are in-charge of the underlayers
P13- bottom magnetic layer
p14- top magnetic layer
p15- top magnetic layer
p16- cooling ( if the machine hangs, and the media got stuck in this chamber for 1 minute, it will be covered with a layer of ICE)
p17- cooling
p18- CVD
p19-CVD
p20- carbon

all corner chambers don't really have any function

Pressure in each chamber is about 3E-3 to 7E-3 TORR
7E-3 torr = 0.933256579 pascals
Standard atmospheric pressure is 101325 Pa


SO u put the media in the load chamber, after about 15 minute, you'll get a sputtered media out.
