JPJ Driving Test
I went there by 830 morning, and took my 'jalan raya' test at 11am. I didn't drove accordingly to the actual plan, instead, I took a shortcut, as told by the inspector.Haaha, so basically i just drove half the distance that i am suppose to drive.
Then after waiting for a few more hours, I took my 'litar' test.
For the slope part, almost failed that one.The parking n 3 point turning went smoothly.
The driving school uncle came to fetch me and another girl home. Chatted with the girl, she is studying micro-electronics in INTI. I asked her hows INTI, she told me INTI is strict. She also told me that a student who failed his test in INTI transfered to PSDC ( another place I am considering) and became the top student there. So the question is, PSDC standard is way too low? OR lecturers there are way too good?
So now what?? Waiting for my P license.
After I reached home. my mum told me: ' your father asked you to buy.."
" a car ?" I continued.
Mum: " no, your P stickers."

Journey to the South 3
Besides that, I am also getting use of sleeping in the bus, now with my improved and upgraded skill, I believe I can sleep in the bus throughout the whole 4.5 hour journey.
Friday
- Went to school right after I dropped my haversack in Yee En's ( my sponsor) house. Went to certify my certs. Then drop by debate and junior PLC meeting.
- Keng Hwa picked me up from school and we went to Kayu with Chee Yong, Ka Hui for a yumcha session.
- Went to Mcd to eat ice-cream with Keng Hwa and Chee Yong. ( lol!!)
- Went to Keng Hwa house, because can't get in Yee En's house ( no one at home??)
- After dinner went out again for probationer scouters meeting in Saji. Was tired at that time.
- Then went to KAYU for the second time in the day. This time is Yee En's yumcha session.
- By the time we reached home, it was almost 12. Heard police/ ambulance siren, and it turns out to be a fatal car accident on the LDP.
Saturday
- Woke up at 0545. Went to fetch Ka Hoo n equipments to school.
- Went to Sri KL to attend woodbadge course ( introduction) with Yee En, Ren Yi, Sze Lin, and Liu Qing. What is woodbadge course? It is basically a training course for leaders on how to train scouts. more info, click here

- Dinner with Yee En's family
- Course assignment time.
It was a very tiring day for me, due to lack of rest on the previous day...
Sunday
- as usual, went for the woodbadge course (module A).
- Dinner in Yee En's Uncle House.
- Sleep.
MOnday
- Went back Penang, but the bus was delayed by an hour.
Now more about woodbadge course.
I attended the course simply i have nothing else to do while I am in PJ, after the recruits camp was canceled.
Met quite a no. of friends from other troop, mainly those from WSJ,
learnt lots of new knowledge,
got lots of new information,
discovered interesting facts about scouting,
had a better understanding on scouting system n policy in Malaysia,
and most importantly,
i had a new perspective n view towards scouting.
However, I will still take some time to digest n really understand things taught in the course, I need to do some practical to fully understand it. I should to find a troop in Penang to help n practise, but where? maybe i can go back my primary school to help them out?? possible?
I went because I had nothing better to do, but I came back with a new understanding towards scouting, it is a good course. Hence, to other probationer scouters/ future scouters, go for it when you have the chance!!

What a day!
Today I received a shocking sms, from Yee En. The sms was even more 'che gek ' than receiving my spm results. The sms was " don't buy bus ticket". My first reaction was - walau eh!!!!!
My mum just went to buy a 2 way bus ticket for me!! OMG!!
Journey to the South 3 vs1- go recruits camp in school, and help out the junior scouts.
But since the camp was postponed, and the bus tickets are already in my wallet. I will have to come out with the version 2/ plan B for this Journey.
Journey to the South 3 vs2- unknown. Maybe I should just go for the 2 day wood badge course, n yum cha every night.
Where am I going to continue my studies? Well seriously, I thought I have everything planned, but well, as I said, I thought. Need to reconsider my ' plan'.
Getting 10a1s, but 1b3 is better than scoring 11as in spm. It's a sad reality for me. haiz...

The 12th genaral election.
Traveled all the way down to Pj with whole family to vote... haha, my parents are such good citizens. Well, actually this trip down to Pj was already planned, it was school holidays, so ya, we came back to Pj. Voting was one of the reasons, but not the main one.
On that particular night, My mum and I received quite a number of calls n sms about the election. The oppositions took over 4 more states and denied BN 2/3 majority in the parliament. Well, it was a shocking news, a really shocking one.
I used to think that election in Malaysia is so perdictable, well not this time. The outcome of the election was unexpected!
DAP kicked Gerakan and MCA out of Penang, Kedah, Perak and even Selangor were also in the hands of the oppositions. Anyway, in these few states, these oppositions are now no more oppositions, but instead, the ruling state government. On the other hand, BN are now the opposition in these few state.
I guess BN is currently very busy doing some research or post-mortem on their failures...they must be wondering, why they lost Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor in a roll??
Well, I can tell u why- the main factor is that Seck Houng traveled thru all these states, that’s why BN lost in all the way from Penang to Selangor!!
The oppositions better thank me for traveling!! On the other hand, BN better don't hate me, instead you should thank me for not traveling straight down to Johor!!
This is really one big Tsunami!!

Tan Sri Datuk Wong Pow Nee's Gallery
Besides that, he was also very active in scouting. He was even the camp chief for the 1st Malaysia Jamboree, which was held in Penang. He also received the "semangat padi " award!!
Gallery Tan Sri Wong Pow Nee was set up by one of his sons.
The door of the gallery is always close, so you will need to enter through the restaurant.
admission to the gallery is FOC, it opens daily, from 10am to 8.30 pm.
For more info about the gallery, just let the founder of the gallery explain it to you ! click here
Beside the gallery is a restaurant, owned by the son.
As the name stated, Hakka Connexion is a Hakka restaurant, serving Hakka food, duh!
Ate the Hakka noodles. The food is just "ok ok", nothing very special....
Actually it is a good idea to open a restaurant, right beside the gallery
1. You can manage the restaurant and the gallery at the same time.
2. People can visit the gallery while waiting for the food to be served.
3. People will get hungry after visiting the gallery and dine in the restaurant.
4. If, they don't feel hungry, they will still dine there. Who enters a restaurant but don't order any food? Paiseh le, if you don't order!!
So, if you so happen to be in Penang, remember to drop by and visit this gallery!!

SPM results out on 12 March (Wed)
taken from the Star online.
I predicted the results to be out on 13 March, so was I wrong?? NO! haha, I forgotten to state that the estimation has a accuracy of +/- 1 day, so it is still in an acceptable range!! What a sore loser..
Well, my whole family will be traveling down to Petaling Jaya on 8 March, then going back Penang on the 10. So I guess I will extend my stay in PJ till 13 March.
so, any extra sleeping place for me? any where? Maybe i should just camp in Templers park!! HAHA!

Star Education Fair '08
1-2 March( SAt-Sun)
Penang International Sports Arena ( PISA)
Today is my cousin brother wedding, the 3rd wedding that we are supposed to attend in Penang, but we can't, because my grandma just passed away, and it is PANTANG to attend his wedding. As I am blogging here, they are having the wedding dinner in Traders hotel.Well, it is their loss, not ours, because they won't have the WPSTF to help them and me, to set up those balloon decorations which are non noticeable.
Anyway, instead of going to the wedding, I went to Star Education fair. Lots of colleges and universities, local and foreign, public and private. YOu name it, they have it. Of course, they also have lots of colleges that you can't/won't name them, but they still appear- I would call those super-low-profile colleges.
Or could it be that I am the frog beneath the well??
Met two people there in the exhibition, 2 really unexpected people. Both not from Penang, but instead from PJ!!
1st was Afiqah, she was a model for a fashion show, by students of equator academy ( my sis college)
2nd was Charles Lim, or should I call him Sir Charles..hehe. He used to be my scouter, when I was still a junior. I still can remember, he is good in Cooking. He was working part time in speedwing booth. It is not a college, it is an agent for the program "travel and work in USA".
You can visit their website for more info. http://www.speedwing.org/
I'm interested in it. Anyone wanna join me??
