Day 2-opening ceremony 28/7

The opening ceremony was on the afternoon, so before that we had free time!!!

ME, Mathew and Kain min went to explore the jamboree site, first we went to the central of the jamboree site where there are lots of stalls selling various scouts item......

while busy looking at those items, i lost my orange cap, which was needed to be wore for the opening ceremony.... we back tracked to search of my cap, n lucky some Malaysian found it n return it to my camp site...haha lucky me

After roaming around, it was time for us to head back our campsite, on our way, we pass by the Hyland house, which is a white house that looked like White House... and suddenly a helicopter came landing down, it was prince William, ya but we didn't see him then..

So, after we are all ready we gather at our sub camp stage..

while waiting some Poland girl scouts went up the stage, and started dancing!!! And here is the Knight that will be leading us to the arena..
On the way to the arena, we spotted prince Williams, around 20m away from us.. and around him was all his bodyguard...

The arena was like a natural arena, the area was like a bowl....n the stage at the middle of the bowl.
Had speeches from Performance

Fireworks
In the Olympics, people light the torch in the stadium, in a jamboree we rise the flag!! That is the flag coming down from the sky... There is one part where all the counties name will be show in the screen n each country is suppose to stand up n cheer. So when the screen showed Swaziland, the Swiss stand up n cheer.
one American,( i think) said " I thought Swiss time should be very accurate?? better not but swatch the next time.." lol

Overall the opening ceremony was great....

In the evening we had some ice breaking games, it was fun too.
