In Penang

In Penang, not everything is cheaper...

1. Parking .
In public parking lots, it costs Rm 0.40 for half an hour, and Rm 0.80 per hour( depending on the area). While Back in PJ, it will only cost you rm0.60 per hour. Further more, the parking system in penang runs 356 days a year!! You will need to pay for parking even it is a weekend/Public holidays!

for most shopping mall, their parking fees are counted by the hour. Park your car there for a day and you may need to pay up to rm20!!

2. Houses
Penang is a small Island, so houses here are much more expensive. MAybe that explains why parking in Penang is so expensive.

3. Hair cut
Dunno why, but hair cut in Penang is definitely more expensive than haircut in PJ. With rm15 you can only get a hair cut, no washing and blowing !! Why are hair cuts more expensive ?Is it also affected by the size of land??

4. Economic rice
the economic rice here is seriously expensive( compared to where i used to but from in PJ). Why? don't ask me ask those who sells them!!!
